The Story Of is passionate about honoring nature through floral design. For us, this means pursuing environmentally friendly design — including sourcing seasonally and locally while employing sustainable methods.
Thoughtful, responsible sourcing is fundamental to this ideal. By working with local farms and responsible wholesalers, we aim to mitigate unnecessary environmental impact and overall carbon footprint.
As an ode to natural seasonality and a means to minimizing waste, we utilize floral at all stages of its life cycle - taking what may be traditionally wasted and using it as a beautiful expression of its life. We also embrace diversity in product - foraged, experimental, not overly used flowers and botanicals give our designs a fresh and distinctive flare.

Your event should be an expression of you. Our design process allows for a deeper relationship and understanding of who you are and how your event can be an unforgettable reflection of you as a person, a couple, or as an organization. We welcome quirky traits, embarrassing stories, out of the box passions, and opportunities for unabashed personalization.
We are passionate about keeping the design process an open dialogue between client and designer to produce the most unique and personalized event possible. At TSO we hope you will enjoy a small-scale, boutique experience which gives clients full access to our unique design perspective and allows us to express ourselves through flowers together.

The Story Of is a queer female owned and operated floral studio.
We are whole-heartedly and unapologetically dedicated to lifting up our fellow members LGBTQ+ community as well as those of racial, ethnic, religious, or any other minority groups and those of any socio-economic status. At the end of the day, we love working with flowers and people who love love and respect their fellow humans. If this inclusivity offends you, we are not the florist for you.

Sustainability.
Two major waste factors that we have worked to minimize are un-reclaimed green waste and floral foam. We take all measures possible to compost and reuse packing materials while processing and designing, and are proudly 100% floral foam free.
Whenever possible, efforts are made to make Denver a little brighter by donating post-event floral or participating in public art displays.
